Parking Lot Improvements Asphalt Overlay at The University of Texas At Dallas
26,793 people!! That’s the number of people enrolled at The University of Texas at Dallas located in Richardson, TX. To put that in perspective, that is roughly the population of Waxahachie, Farmers Branch, Big Spring, Southlake, Weatherford, Colleyville, or Paris, Texas. With a campus size of 500 acres, you can imagine that it takes a well-designed infrastructure comprised of multiple roadways, parking lots, parking spaces, sidewalks, Handicap Signage and directional signage to accommodate that many people coming and going on a weekly basis. Needless to say, safety is a high priority for both student, faculty, and visitors.
Since 2014, a portion of Pavement Services Corporation’s growth has run parallel with the growth of the UTD Campus and our relationship with its Facility’s Management Team and the Parking & Transportation Team. As we have had the privilege of participating in multiple projects on the UTD campus, we have been able to partner with this amazing educational institution to help accommodate its commitment to serve students from the United States and beyond.
Here is a quick glance at some of the numbers…

…not to mention all of the related parking lot stripes, Handicap signs, directional signs, pedestrian safety signs, bollards, and speed bumps and humps we included.
As stated earlier, this is our production on this campus since 2014. The shared professionalism between PSC and UTD to jointly make this happen has been an amicable experience. The mutual cooperation of the PSC Team and the UTD Team, working together with like values, has been a great experience for us. We can’t thank the staff at the university enough for the opportunity.
